Overview
A photo shoot for my company ( into bulky constructions ). The theme was to portray new standards set by DLF LAING O'ROURKE, India in construction industry in India.
Challenge
Its been long since gone for any industrial shoot. Was excited and want to prove myself that I can do it, plus the zeel to learn more about apertures and shutter speeds in a extreme sunny conditions with a huge perspective.
Achievement
Results were beyond my expectations, ultimately good and discovered BOSS! I had got Photography in my blood ( ours is third generation in photography, all my family/cousins are involved in photographic trades ).
Some technical stuff
- SLR still rules over digital
- Build in Aperture meter of camera is really help
- 35mm wide angle lens rules
- DO'NOT use polarizing filter in many clicks, be specific
- You missed the TRIPOD and you are dead
- Start the shoot after 6.30 am
- Complete the shoot before 5 pm ( if you have planned a daylight shoot)
- For Arial clicks early morning is best
Lessons learned
- Plan your shoot and inform the site to be in a proper shape at least 4 days prior of the shoot.
- Get the site coordinator with you from the start
- Always carry two digital camera's and two 35mm wide angle lens with you.
Very few shots to show here:
